Organ donation and transplantation is a common topic in the medical field that has generated several conflicting views. Too few individuals of the population, the gift of an organ is a valid way of saving lives. To others, it is distrusted and not fully understood. Regardless of public views, this paper will use the altruistic view vs utilitarianism to demonstrate the necessity of organ donation and transplantation towards saving the lives of others.
