Movie: Law abiding citizen

Critically analyze the film by applying at least 10 ethical systems and/or concepts learned in class. The film should be criminal justice-related. It could either be on the police, courts, or corrections. Your task will be to identify the concepts, explain them in your own words and then apply them to the various scenarios in the film. Make sure to evaluate and value the different ideas, perspectives, cultures and viewpoints presented in the film. The assignment should be 3-4 pages, double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman, and should include the following:

1. Identify, define and then apply at least 10 ethical systems and /concepts that you learned in this course.

2. The concepts/terms must be in bold.

E.g. Ethics of care

3. You can only describe the scene to which the concept applies, but not the plot of the whole film.

While your paper must have a scholarly tone (e.g. using appropriate grammar and a college-level vocabulary, not using contractions or the first-person), it should consist mainly of your own original ideas and thoughts.

Organization & Structure 10 pts	Poor - Organization and structure detract from the message of the writer. - Paragraph is disjointed and lack transition of thoughts.	Fair - Structure of the paragraph is not easy to follow. - Paragraph transitions need improvement.	Good - Structure of the paragraph is clear and easy to follow. Each paragraph focuses on one concept or ethical system that is applied to the film.
Format 5 pts	Poor - Paper lacks many elements of correct formatting. - Paragraph is inadequate/excessive in length.	Fair - Paper follows most guidelines. - Paper is over/ under word length.	Good - Paper follows designated guidelines. - Paper is the appropriate length as described for the assignment.
Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling 10 pts	Poor - Paper contains numerous grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors. - Language uses jargon or conversational tone; use of contractions and first person.	Fair - Paper contains few grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. - Language lacks clarity or includes the use of some jargon or conversational tone, use of contractions and first person.
