Term Paper

Select an application in the area of artificial intelligence (neural networks, expert systems,

robotics, fuzzy logic systems, natural language processing, etc.) that uses one of the topics in the

course.

Use suitable databases for the chosen application and test/evaluate the performance of the

algorithm on those databases.

Prepare a report based on the observations and present the paper to the class.

The term paper report should contain abstract, introduction, theoretical description, results and

discussion, conclusion, and references (minimum 3 references).

Length of the report: 4 - 6 pages including figures and illustrations (IEEE format).

Submit the title of your topic and 150-word abstract by March 15, 2020.

The presentation duration is 10 minutes (Mondays 04/20 & 27 and Wednesdays 04/22 & 29).

Notes:

• The technique should be implemented in Python.

• The term paper report should be submitted as a PDF file through Blackboard for evaluation. • The program codes with the dataset used should be submitted through Blackboard for

evaluation.

• The Power Point slides should be uploaded on Blackboard by the presentation day. • Late submissions will not be accepted.
