Program evaluation

Evaluation of a program is an act performed in many organizations and in this case, it is in an academic platform. As a good evaluator, you are supposed to attract members in who will be interested in your program of evaluation. This process can also strength advocacy and sustainability support with a purpose of judging a program to improve its effectiveness (Mourato & Patrício, 2019). Apart from that, you must ensure your program entails interesting facts so that the audience find it fascinating. In identification of audience who might be interested in your evaluation, a category is used. These categories are:

Internal

· Students- students are the main targeted audience in an academic platform. They are the major group as far as learning is concerned. They will be interested in the evaluation as most of them will ask questions regarding to the program (Mourato & Patrício, 2019). The larger the students’ number, the more effective the evaluation process.

· Teachers – teachers as well will impact the process as most of them are well learned, meaning their contribution to the evaluation will key in new ideas in the analyzing and also help them in their career.

External

· Parents – depending on the program under evaluation, parents’ contribution will give the evaluator estimates especially if it is a family-student relationship program.

· Board of Governance – if the program is interesting, it will attract the board and by luck they can give support (Mourato & Patrício, 2019). Most of the times they act as stakeholders of your program. This group will be interested in your program evaluation only if it is educative.
