The purpose of program evaluation is to provide students with skills that are beneficial in the society. It enables learners to apply mathematical computations and problems, and be in a position to evaluate charts thereby identifying areas of improvements. Through this program, leaners can relate mathematical charts and provide important information on mathematical concepts. The program also improves the learners reasoning and creativity, their ability to apply them in data analysis and mathematic models that explain various mathematical concepts. This project program evaluation aimed at finding areas of improvements in Jamestown College in line with its vision and mission achievement.

The program quality level is high because it has identified the need in the society and areas to be streamlined in the Jamestown College in terms of program quality and their efficiency. The program has identified an increase in demand for mathematical professionals in the society and this has called for the need to train more leaners in BA mathematics. To achieve this, the program advocates for program quality to attract more leaners to the program to meet the high growing demand of professionals in this field of mathematics. Moreover, the performance mathematics is low which is evidently supported from the data. Average performance and average GPA also indicates low performance (University of Jamestown 2018). The ability of this program alignment in providing solutions on how to improve the performance is an indication of its high quality level and realization of its purpose.

The recommendations of this program alignment shall increase the quality and efficiency of the program. Through program streamlining process, the right students will be taken to study the course and this will address the issue of low performance. Application of the given recommendations shall improve the leaners motivation and self-drive in pursuit of the program.as a result the overall improvement of the program shall be realized.
