Teresa, in this section please talk about how various identity factors can influence the risk/rate of child abuse and neglect. How does poverty, race, religion, etc influence this social problem? How about the fact that adults who were abused as kids are more likely to abuse? I know I’ve heard that in terms of sexual abuse, does it also hold true in general cases of abuse? – There is SO MUCH research around this topic alone. You should really have no problem being ale to find enough sources for this section. |
