For years small businesses have struggled with the impact of online retailers and have never really recovered.
In January 2021, four business professionals partnered together to co-found Tennessee Strong-Box. The company consists of four co-founders, Jonathan Eyerman, Rafael Stewart, Stephanie Gillmer, and Michael Neumiller.
After realizing that they could impact and change small businesses, the four founded the company on blending small business discovery with online subscriptions.
The four selected Tennessee to start. Tennessee is and will always be a great place to put down roots. With a fast-growing economy, a low cost of living, and 260,000 jobs added, it is also a great place to build a business and products.
The company wants to make it possible for everyone to experience the small business touch. Allowing Tennessee Strong-Box the ability to help find new possibilities and feel the contribution to their local communities.

Our company’s values statements derive from Genuineness, Quality and Having Fun. These three determine how we interact internally and with our customers. Tennessee Strong Box is built around its four senior executives (CEO, CFO, COO, CTO) who share the same ideas when it comes to decision making. Their main objective is to keep its customers the focal point of all decisions. All major decisions are decided as a team. With the small staff we have the remaining employees take direction from the COO. The COO instills the same values and guidance to the Operations team. She has the autonomy to make decisions that affect the day-to-day operations and staffing of her team.

The subscription box market which is a segment of the eCommerce subscription service market and it is rapidly growing and does not seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. This market has a current net worth right now in 2021 of roughly $15 billion with niche products leading the industry accounting for about 20% of the total industry sales. This market sees more than 60% of its subscribers being women. There are more women subscribers which makes them a focused target for businesses more than the male population is. With this being true it is also true that men are seen subscribing to multiple services more often than women so it depends on the products offered whether women or men are the better choice for the targeted consumer.
