Emotions

Introduction

Use this section as an introduction to provide an overview about the setting in which you made your observations for this assignment. Set the reader up for the discussion to follow.

Introversion vs. Extroversion

You should provide some research here to explain what intro- and extroversion means. Provide a few examples of behavior that you observed as individuals performed their work, particularly when dealing with the public. What behaviors did you see that caused you to classify some as introverts and others as extroverts?

The Big Five

Provide a brief summary of the Big Five personality types. Then, discuss employees you observed exhibiting these personality types. Did any characteristic(s) stand out that made some more effective at their work than others?

Choice of Followers

Taking personality types into account (such as those found in Myers-Briggs and the Big Five), which types of followers would you prefer lead and what are the management implications? You should include research here that supports your viewpoints.

Conclusion

Finally, write a conclusion that summarizes the importance of emotions and why organizations should take it seriously. Ideally, conclusions should be at least five (5) sentences in length. Your references will then begin on the last page.
