McRae, what standard does Justice Stewart say applies with regard to analyzing whether the Hyde Amendment violates the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution?  Do you think Justice Stewart’s reasoning—with respect to the Equal Protection portion of the opinion only—is persuasive?  Why or why not?
