Tittle: Tele Healthcare

Thesis: The establishment of communication between doctors and patients who require advice or are in a long-term care can be done remotely. This can be defined as Tele healthcare. The advancement in Technology has made this possible. One of the advantages about this kind of service is that it see through the decongestion of nursing homes.

I. Introduction: I would like to state in this paper whether tele health care is a good option for nursing homes. Indeed, tele healthcare is a good option for nursing homes.

A. Thesis: The benefits of telehealthcare outweigh its shortcoming, and it is thus wise to adopt it in the delivery of care with advancement in technologies.

B. I would like to state here that tele healthcare can be described as the integration of technology on the aspect of trying to improve the delivery of health services to the people. This particular aspect employees a number of aspects that help in enhancing health via the aspects of public health, health education and also via the aspect of trying to deliver on the aspect of health education. From this definition it is evident that the benefits of tele healthcare outweighs its shortcoming and thus it is wise to adopt it in the advancement of technologies.

II. Why choose Tele healthcare

A. Advantages

1. This service is facilitated by the advancement in technology.

2. Patients who do not necessarily have to be admitted and readmitted to nursing homes can stay at home and be monitored from there through the tele health care service.

3. Tele health care allows the health professionals to have access to the patient’s report at any time.

4. The use of technology allows the healthcare givers to access the progress or the well-being of a patient at any particular time from any specific locale.

5. Telemedicine helps nursing homes to overcome challenges they face when providing round-the-clock care for patients with complex medical conditions.

III. Controversies surrounding Tele healthcare

1. Effective ness to our patients when he or she has challenges in getting all the pieces of the equipment needed for an effective tele health care.

2. Another challenge that may be encountered by a patient when he or he is living in a remote area.

3. Patients are used to face-to-face or hands-on practice with physicians and nurses.

V. Technology contributions to Tele healthcare

1. One of the foreseeable challenges in the use of tele healthcare is misdiagnosis.

2. Currently there is no standard of care that is already established, there is also the challenge of how to account for those tele health vendors.

3. A practitioner might innocently deliver wrong or unintended diagnosis because of the lack of an established standard usage of the tele healthcare technology.
