Video Observation Form
Complete a separate Video Observation Form for each video you watch. All Video Observation Forms should be submitted in the appropriate assignment folder in myLearning. You can submit as many forms as you need. Each completed Video Observation Form counts as one hour toward the 45 hour requirement.
You can type into this form – just delete the italicized directions and provide your information in the spaces below.

Complete this column as you watch the video. It is fine to pause and rewind the video to assist in recording your observations.
Take notes on everything you see and hear in the video.
You should note the times of events you record.
This box will expand as you type into it – your information should take up much more space, depending on the length of the video.
|
Leave this column blank until you are done watching the video and recording your observations, then review and think about what you observed.
Connect your observations in the left column to the 10 InTASC Standards – what evidence do you see of which of the standards? Explain, using specific details. Align your reflection with the description of the specific event or segment description you recorded in the left column so that the observation and reflection are next to each other in this chart. You do not have to connect every single thing you observed – you are looking for events you observed in the video that document or demonstrate the InTASCs.
You will likely see evidence of multiple InTASCs as you watch the videos – be sure that you address each of the 10 standards in at least one of your Video Observation Forms. |
|
Takeaway: Explain at least one meaningful concept, idea or understanding that you gained from the video. What did you learn? How will you use this in the future?
