Fig. 1 -Blender parts placed together- The Oster blender is a very useful machine that can blend fruit and vegetables into a juice. The blender consists of a base with plug, removable stainless steel rotating blades, sport bottle, and lid. The function of this machine is to blend fruits and vegetables into a pulp within seconds. The blender is easy to use, plus the container you are blending the juice in is the actual sports bottle that you can remove, attach a lid, and be on the go. We will discuss each part and understand how to use this simple and convenient blender help you prepare.

Fig. 2- Base provides stability for blending- Base The base provides for the stability of the blender as it bears the weight. It is shaped almost as a triangular cone three sides 12cmx11cmx11cm and stands 19cm tall. It is made of plastic, has 3 colors from bottom to top white, light blue and black as a sleek design. The texture is smooth yet easy to grip and hold with one hand as you will eventually blend with the other. It has a 66 cm long white plug for connecting to nearby outlets. The base top has two features, one a posterior grip extending posteriorly from both sides of the base that you can easily hold for transport. The second

feature on top is a circular aperture for holding the detachable rotating blender blade securely into place. It has a diameter of 8 cm, and the top contains an arrow signifying where to place the corresponding blade white arrow to commence blending.

Blades

The stainless steel blades are sharp and are situated like a flower on its own detachable base. There are two blades are 5.5 cm long that intersect each other. On one blade, both ends point upwards at a slant, while the other points downwards to maximize the surface area of cutting as it rotates around the interlocking screw. The detachable blade base is 6 cm in diameter, 6.5 cm in height and has a white arrow on top to guide positioning when placing into top circular arperture on the main base.

Fig.3- convenient use of sports bottle- Sports Bottle The sports bottle is light blue, transparent 22cm long made of plastic and capable of holding 20oz. The top part of the bottle has a circular opening with a diameter of 6 cm to place fruits, vegetables and liquids into before blending. After placement of contents into the bottle, the detachable blending Blade part is placed on top and the bottle is closed by tightening clockwise, with the blade surface inside the bottle.

Blending The contents are now ready for blending and the bottle with the blender blade attached is placed onto the main base, attaching the corresponding white arrows seen the on the detachable blade base and the main base. After plugging in the plug into an electric outlet, the sports bottle is gripped and turned clockwise until both white arrows observed are met. One can hear the sound of the blender functioning with the blade rotating, and the blender vibrating. When the sound becomes higher pitched and the contents inside are observed to be been smooth and blended, you are ready to serve after removing the detachable blade by twisting countercheck wise.

Lid The plastic lid is to be placed on top of

the sports bottle and tightened clockwise to close and seal the bottle for transport. It is 5.5 cm tall, and 6 cm diameter. The top of the lid has two features, a black grip that extends out posteriorly for one to hold, and top drinking hole that is snapped close by a blue lid cover. When you wish to drink the juice, simply open the lid, lift the opening to you mouth and drink.

Conclusion

In today’s age where health foods are lacking in availability, the Oster Blender presents as a simple and convenient blender that can give you a nutritious drink within seconds as it even retains the pulp. The sports bottle gives you an added advantage in saving you time by simply replacing the detachable blade by twisting on the lid, and you are ready to go!
