Company overview

History: Sn automobiles was started in 2018 by Selim Nasir. Upon moving to Darwin from Sydney he found that there was a huge scarcity for quality mechanics in Darwin, although there was a substantial amount of car owners in Darwin but the numbers of mechanics in comparison were very low. Therefore, he being a car enthusiast decided that he was  going to open Sn automobiles.​

Business Goals : The aim of the business was to ensure that customers get hassle-free and good car services at an affordable price. SN automobiles aim is to be a one-stop solution for all its customers. Their services include car services, oil changing, changing of lights, painting , polishing, car repairments , they also specialize in alignment setting , dent removal and window tinting services​​

Team: Initially they started small due to low capital, Selim who was the lead mechanic hired another sub mechanic called Anwar. Selim was dealing with the more technical side of the business-like engine repairs , faulty wiring , parts removal while Anwar concentrated more on the servicing side of things like changing of engine oil, fixing lights , painting all other miscellaneous stuff ​​

Location: Sn automobiles is situated in one of the prime location of coconut grove just a 10 minutes’ drive from casuarina square and Darwin city.​

 Industry Structure Evaluation

Competitors: Despite a lot of small mechanic businesses sprouting in the Darwin area in the last couple of years SN’s main competitor remains MYcar. MYcar automobiles which have been a industry topper in Darwin for many years started out in Darwin as one of the first servicing facilities to set up businesses in Darwin. They are a chain business with shops around all over the major cities in Australia. They have all the state of the art technology including a very good website and customer service team. They have the best of machineries and the most talented technicians working under them thus their huge dominance in this market​

Market Share:​ The Australian automative industry brings in 7 billion dollars a year into the economy and employs over 100,000 people .Northern territory has 0.7% percent of all the cars in australia so we are assuming the darwin automotive industry to be worth 49 million dollars.  Upon speaking with the owner of SN automobiles we came to know he has sales of around  350-400 thousand a year.

Tatics: provides hassle-free services to the customer. They ask the customer to bring the car in, the mechanics then examine the car while the customer is waiting in the reception area and finally tells the customers what is wrong with the car

Pest analysis

Some factors which are not in the control and can make affect in the way business is running such as political, economic, social, and technological. We also know these four factors as PEST. Harvard Professor Francis Agulier Developed this in the year 1967.

Political Decisions can make a massive impact on the business.   The average income for people living in the Darwin area is 1193.  There are not enough quality full mechanical shops are available in the Darwin Region.  it has pros and cons.  
Most of the aftermarket parts are coming from China.  60 percent of people who are working go to work by drive.  People who have backup vehicles are happy to wait to get appointment in bigger mechanical shop such as MYCAR, Ultra Tune.  Lacking technological Support can make business extremely limited to certain group. 
The relationship between China and Australia is necessary.  Economic condition of the people who are both working and riding car as transportation are financially well.  The number of immigrants is increasing.  Whether Better technologically advanced Mechanical garage will get the attentions of majority of the audience. 
Decisions about tax and tariffs are about to change.  Lacking better public transportation is making everyone buying private vehicles.

1. Customer Retention and Acquisition – Customer retention and acquisition may be the maximum impactful measurements in a car restore store. In different words, it is the share of present clients that go back for provider within a given term. Usually, these measurements are taken over a one-12 months duration.
