18 to 25 points Fully addresses all of the elements of the assignment, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant issues and concepts. Key information is effectively and succinctly synthesized and all points are supported by cited sources and an example.

9 to 17 points Demonstrates basic understanding of relevant issues and concepts. Attempts to synthesize information but could be more succinct. Answer includes at least one cited source or an example.

0 to 8 points Demonstrates some understanding of relevant issues and concepts but answer is shallow and is not supported by either a cited information source or an example.

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving 25 points

18 to 25 points Provides relevant examples that are personal and/or professional that can be applied in making business decisions. The information is insightful and adds value to the topic.

9 to 17 points Provides relevant examples that are personal and/or professional that can be applied in making business decisions. The information may lack depth and detail.

0 to 8 points Demonstrates no critical thinking. Assignment is either non-existent, or severely limited.

Organization and Coherence 25 points

18 to 25 points Ideas are communicated in a logical manner to support the assignment. The content is organized and flows well. Writing is easy to understand.

9 to 17 points Ideas are communicated throughout the assignment in a coherent manner. Writing is somewhat easy to understand.

0 to 8 points Does not display any organization or coherence. Nonexistent, or lacks any clear expression of relevant ideas or points.

APA Citation & References 25 points

18 to 25 points In text citation and references are formatted in APA 7th Ed. and are error free.

9 to 17 points In text citation and references are formatted in APA 7th Ed. but with several errors.

0 to 8 points In text citation and references are missing or APA is either not used or is mainly incorrect.
