Megan for the 10 years of her life saw domestic violence due to her father. Her father left the family when she was 10 and hasn’t been seen since. However, Megan currently has a boyfriend who has assaulted her and who is also very controlling. He tells her who she can talk to and what she can wear. She thinks his actions are because he loves her. |

Support group for domestic violence victims to show Megan that her boyfriends behavior isn’t normal. Also to teach her healthy relationship techniques. |
Megan needs to focus on school and sports instead of worrying with her boyfriend. |

Building healthy relationships with men so that she doesn’t end up in another domestic violence situation. |

Objectives |
· Therapy for Megan individually and sessions with her mother so that they can both learn to have healthy relationships with each other as well as with men. · Continuing involvement in a support group to assist her with coping skills and positive relationships. · No more ditching school · Talking to the courts about her case of assault and her covering for her boyfriend who is really the one at fault. · Talking to victim services about her problems with her boyfriend. |

Discharge and Termination Plans Describe the discharge and termination plan for the client. |

Discharge Plan |
After going to 6 individual therapy sessions Megan and her mom will go to an additional 6 sessions together. The sessions will occur on a weekly basis. Also, Megan will need to attend her support group once a week for support with domestic violence issues. |

Termination Plan |
Megan will need to successfully finish her individual and therapy with her mom. Also, continuing with her support group after termination to provide her with support for any residual issues. Also, Megan will have to clarify any issues with the courts due to her charges. If charged she will need to successfully finish any obligations set forth by the courts. |
