Okay, yeah interesting. I don’t know if you have any other experience with other fast food companies, but do you know if chick fil a differs in any way from the way things are run at those ones.

Yes, I wouldn’t be able to speak in depth about that just because I haven’t, I've never worked for another, actually I've never worked for another restaurant. Nor have I, I've worked for a non-profit, I've worked for a construction company when I was in high school, but other than that I've worked for Chick Fil A my whole life, so its kind of like what I grew up in, its like. Here’s what I can tell you, so uh when I worked for a local franchise like the one I own today in North Carolina, my local owner was the same way, I mean he came in and he said “How can I serve you today? How can I be here?” He was very involved. And so I would so the difference that I have witnessed in what chick fil a does compared to everybody else is, you know there’s approximately 2400 Chick Fil As in the nation, and the majority of them are owned, each separate location is individually owned and operated by a different individual. So that’s a difference where if you look at other locations, let’s just say McDonalds for example, typically there’s an owner, and the owner owns maybe 5, 10, 15, 20 different location. Chick Fil A does not do that. (6:59)

“Do you maybe have time for one last question?”

“Yea, sure!”

“Is there anything else that you think Chick-fil-A instills that you didn’t already cover in the business model or management style or do you have anything else to add?”

Contact

“No, I would say that I’ve worked at Chick-fil-A for 13 years and I’ve been a part of this organization for a long time and I think that if you were to really sum up what Chick-fil-A, I think means to me and to a lot of people, and even when I meet with my team members this is what they tell me more than anything. If I ask them, “Why are you still working here?”, because you know a lot of people just come and work for me for a little bit and then they’re gonna go get a real job, right?
