Tea-Infused Candy

Hedonist Artisan Chocolates have advanced their product by teaming up on chocolates infused with tea flavors. Conferring with the proprietor of Leaf Tea Bar Niraj Lama, the trend of combining chocolate with teas has come to be popular. Moreover, the out-of-the-box flavor blends are a significant factor that has led to Hedonist Artisan Chocolates becoming popular. The current tea-infused line of chocolates includes Rooibos Ginger Lime, Matcha, Roch-cha Chai, Lapsang Souchong and Earl Grey. Also, they are incorporated in a Valentine's Day gift which has a special limited-edition tea blend known as Himalayan Rose. This type is created of organic Rose petals and the first flush of Darjeeling tea. The chocolate-and-tea package can be bought at Leaf Tea Bar, 650 South Ave or online at the cost of 30 dollars (Schuhmacher, 2017).

Every year during Valentine's Day period, Hedonist has sustained its collaboration with a local artist to embellish a collection of raspberry truffle for the day. The line for this year's Valentine's Day collection was known as "Send Your Love," and it was designed in partnership with a graphic designer and letterpress printer established in Rochester called Rachel Oatridge. Besides, the five love letter-themed designs and a letterpress-printed tag that was used to decorate the ten truffles were created by Oatridge. The ingredients used to make the truffles include fresh raspberries blended with raspberry liqueur spun into about 55% of semisweet chocolate and enrobed in approximately 72% of dark chocolate. This collection can be bought at Hedonist Artisan Chocolates, 674 South Ave or one can order online and they go for 20 dollars (Schuhmacher, 2017).

One of the newest flavors from the brand is the Mentos Matcha candies that contain a unique taste that is infused with real green tea, and it is available solely in Japan. The candies are created with a three-layer form that is said to begin with an outer shell that is hard then melted to expose the matcha flavor inside that mixes effortlessly with the sweetness. This aid to achieve perfectly balanced candies that have a bittersweet taste. To enable the Mentos Matcha to penetrate and fit into the Japan market, they are labeled with distinct pictures and patterns that express the quality nature of the product (Hemsworth, 2017).

The Torn Ranch Splendid Specialties line focus on chocolates, truffles, and baked products. Their cookies and chocolates infused with tea are absolutely incredible. One of their most popular Tea Cookies lines is Masala Chai, which is comparable to a chai infused gingerbread butter cookie. Another line is Peppermint Chill, which is infused with peppermint oil and Black tea. Other types include Hibiscus with Lemon oil, Green Tea Jasmine, which is oddly both buttery and flowery, Orange Pekoe with Black Tea, and African Rooibos with Guava (Schwarz, 2006).

Schuhmacher (2017) reports that Splendid Specialties' chocolates infused with tea are in milk chocolate flavors also suffused with ginger, jasmine green, orange, and chai that equivalently stage the essence of the teas devoid of fully overshadowing their chocolate tastes. The other line, green tea dark chocolate bars, also shares the equal flavorings seeing as the dark chocolate and green tea flavor overwhelm each other. The brand’s truffles are stylish in appearance and their flavor matches also stand.

Sencha Naturals has three distinct varieties of their green tea mints line consisting of Original, Lively Lemongrass, and Delicate Pear. Green tea naturally resists the bacterial metabolisms that cause bad breath via its mint even though it does not have to be too strong to fulfil this function. Every one of these mints has a refined, green-tea-like minty savor while the lemongrass and pear mints deliver flavorful variants of this popular taste theme. Sencha Naturals shaped the mints like leaves and match the texture of Ten Ren confections. The makers also claim that having three of these variants is the same as downing a whole cup of green tea. Also, they are not sugar-added and packed 77 pieces in a single container. The mints are also “fair trade” certified (Schwarz, 2006).

Finally, Tearrow Tea Gum is among the most exceptional tea-infused gums chiefly because the originator determined how to mix organic tea and gum without coming apart like it typically does when it mixes with food. The makers say that they are without sugar and come with the nutritional benefits of downing a cup of tea. The green tea version is elaborate and still maintains a minty savor (Schwarz, 2006).
