TASK FORCE

OVERVIEW

PURPOSE

GROUND RULES

Group identity and team spirit are a reflection of the size of a team; consequently, it is recommended that teams be kept under ten members, whenever possible, as a means of fostering cohesiveness within the group. This number is ideal, but it should be kept in mind that the purpose for which the team was created will, in many instances, dictate team size. This is especially true for interagency teams. (BRASWELL, MOORE)

develop a strategic plan for the medium and long run, and make sure that it is adequately funded and implemented. This requires much more than typical interagency cooperation, and it is more than what is expected of an elected official. It requires a new entity with the vision, voice, and influence to make sure that community safety remains a priority in D6.
