Make a final research paper that provides a high-level overview of : : How to Integrate AI Technology to Improve Listening Skills of Cambridge A2 Key English Language Learners In ELT?

For the task should draw on the topic of research selected in their annotated bibliography in assessment task 1 and use the research questions highlighted in assessment 1 and draft an essay based on the same.

Use the literature sourced in the annotated bibliography of build the argument for their essay specifying a selected context and cohort.

Draw on further relevant literature to draft a cogent essay which  persuades the reader of their argument based on evidence  . This academic essay should have a thesis statement and an argument, supported by relevant recommendations and a succinct conclusion which draws together all the strands of the discussion signposting future research directions.

Criteria

1. Clearly state the research question/s you will be answering in your essay.

2. Decide on a theoretical framework to apply to your analysis of the argument. Choose a theory/theories that will best support you to interpret the workings of the question/s you have elected to analyse.

3. Once you have decided on your theoretical frame, it is important to undertake additional reading/research on the selected theory/theories. The essay is your opportunity to investigate a theory and apply it in greater detail, including its limitations. Discuss this aspect with your tutor.

4. At this stage, it is important to undertake secondary research to support interpretation. That is, use the library to find peer-review scholarly research that has been conducted in your topic area. Remember to integrate sources with your own analysis.

5. When structuring the arguments and related discussions is to keep the main queries in focus. Also ensure you keep cohort and context in mind and move beyond describing the literature to synthesis and critical reflection.

Follow the conventions for writing an essay  Adherence to the task requirements including word count and academic integrity  Understanding the question and subject matter  Use of supporting evidence in the form of academic peer-reviewed sources and policy literature. A minimum of 22 references is expected for a directed reading project. Structure and written presentation including accurate referencing in a style appropriate for your discipline (e.g. APA).

Sections and marks per section:

1. Introduction of the context, issue and its component parts = 12 marks

2. Examination of chosen theoretical framework(s) = 10 marks

3. Examination of legislation and policy relating to the issue = 6 marks

4. Examination of the literature = 15 marks

5. Conclusion and Recommendations = 12 marks

6. Presentation of the task including academic communication and adherence to referencing and citation styles = 5 marks
