You have been asked to produce a clear, relevant and well-researched case study on a named disease of the cardiopulmonary organs. You must choose one specific disease which could include, but is not limited to, any of the following: coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy, asthma, emphysema or pneumonia.

Your report should provide an overview of the disease, as well as the cause(s), diagnostic and progression tests, and treatment. You should include data from up-to-date, credible sources on such things as morbidity and mortality rates, costs etc.
