Each team must complete and follow a TARP Work Plan:
· You must use a Gantt chart https://www.gantt.com/ with dates and deadlines.
· It must be posted on the team’s Google docs
· You can make a few charts if need be (one for each month)
· You must be able to prove you follow it
Some suggested yardsticks/benchmarks you could use:
· Decide roles: editor, researcher, small section writer, PowerPoint & runner
· Schedule (minimum weekly) progress meetings on Skype
· Pick a non-profit
· Complete cover page
· Visit the non-profit
· Decide on root cause/problem
· Visit successful non-profit
· Research the problem
· Decide on alternatives
· Visit Prof. G. during office hours for feedback on problem/alts.
· Write first draft of the Executive Summary
· Write first draft of Project Objectives
· Research alternatives
· Research pros & cons
· Write first draft of Findings
· Write Scope
· Start PowerPoint
· Write Methodology
· Etc.
Note: Please, take this seriously, the schedule will help you get everything done early, so you can proofread and practice your presentation (I can open the class early). Make it work!
