Increasing the price of bullets is one way to solve this problem. If bullets are very expensive, the chance of gun shooting would be reduced dramatically because only under some emergency situations people are willing to shoot that expensive bullet, like self-defense. according to the research, most harmful gun shooting happens among poor people. if they cannot afford bullets, problems will be solved.

Banning guns would be good but isn’t practical. What we can do is setting more barriers to getting a gun, such as seeing a psychiatrist and a thorough background check.

Aristotelian Approach

It’s hard to absolutely ban guns, but guns sometimes are definitely harmful and gun shootings are harming most people. According to Aristotle, mean is the range between two extremes, so our view is partially agreeing with gun controls. We think guns are legal but no everyone can buy or use a gun. We need a stricter standard to test if someone is qualified to get a gun.
