All guns should be legal, but we should require mental health screenings and criminal background checks.

Banning guns would be good, but isn’t practical; would be very difficult to actually carry out

There should be greater barriers to getting a gun, such as seeing a psychiatrist and a thorough background check

In favor of gun control. Police are the law enforcement and have the duty to protect communities. If people have guns to protect themselves, what purpose do police have?

No one should be allowed to have a gun easily. I don’t absolutely agree with gun control, but government should make it clearer that what kind of people are eligible to have a gun and what kind of people are not. Guns are still useful in certain situations, like self-defense. I just think government should be stricter with standards of buying a gun, like doing a history research.

Gun control is good, and I agree with gun control. Absolute gun control is the basic factor of a stable society. Take China for example, Chinese government is extremely strict with gun control and only some police are allowed to have guns. As a result, China is probably the safest country. People walk in the street casually even in midnight.

I think increasing the price of bullets is one way to solve this problem. If bullets are very expensive, the chance of gun shooting would be reduced dramatically because only under some emergency situations people are willing to shoot that expensive bullet, like self-defense. according to the research, most harmful gun shooting happens among poor people. if they cannot afford bullets, problems will be saved.
