This is a self-paced course, which means that you may work at your own pace within the eight weeks of the course, but you MUST complete all coursework on or before the last day of class. To help you meet this requirement, your instructor has provided a recommended course schedule. Refer often to the course schedule and the course calendar to stay on task.

The class begins on 11/30 and ends on 01/29. Please use MATH-1332-TD009 with all correspondence regarding this course.

You must complete the Course Contract before the class census date to be considered actively participating in this course. Failure to complete the Course Contract by the !rst Friday of your course will result in an administrative withdraw.

Demonstrating Activity in This Course

CTC policy states students must demonstrate activity in an online course prior to cert-roll date. The CTC Mathematics Department uses the Course Contract as demonstration of activity in the course. Go to "Start Here!" to !nd the Course Contract. You must verify your BioSig identity to have access to the course Contract. Failure to complete the Course Contract by the !rst Friday may result in withdrawal from this course.

Throughout this course, you will:

Monitor your progress throughout the course by checking your grades periodically. You do this by selecting the grade book link in the course menu in MyMathLab. Your instructor will transfer your grades from MyMathLab to the Blackboard grade book at the end of the semester. You can check your grade in Blackboard at the end of the semester by selecting My Grades in the blue course menu to the left.

Exam Information

The time limit is two hours and the exam will close at the end of the time. The exam may be accessed only one time. You may use the CTC Formula Book and approved calculator. A cell phone calculator may NOT be used. You are expected to take exams by yourself, using only the resources listed above.
