Justification for Dissemination

The document briefly describes the dissemination plan and the implementation process. It contains the methods and the intended group for the result. Dissemination acts as a process of sharing the research results with different individuals and broader audiences. It's essential for uptake and use of research findings, which also helps in the sustainability and success of practice-based research networks in any field. The dissemination plan aim s at ensuring that the project result will be used. It also aims at explaining how, why, when, and to whom the outcomes of the project will be shared. The project result warrantees dissemination as it is vital for the vast hospitals functioning.

Therefore, they will be disseminated since they identify and explain the admission policy in the PICU. Since these policies are crucial, and they enable effectiveness in other units within the hospital. The recipient of the plan will know the different levels of patient prioritization within the hospital and will also be provided prioritization frameworks through the allocated unit resources and staff. This strategy will lead to increased awareness of the research result. It will also maximize the impact that the result can have on improving many patients' health outcomes. The results are precious as they facilitate decision making and increases consistency in PICU needs. Thus they also boost the overall patient care process.

Dissemination Method

However, regardless of how transformational and innovative the results are, they will not make any impact unless they are communicated in a timely way to the target audiences that will directly benefit from them. The project result's main target audiences includes hospital stakeholders, policymakers, practitioners, and patients, especially those within the hospital, and are directly being affected by the lack of right admission policy criteria.

These individuals are directly impacted by the research result and can use the information to make more informed decisions that lead to improved patient care outcomes. Although several dissemination methods can be adopted, the project results will use the most appropriate that will get the message to the target audience. The project will adopt journals, reports, and websites to transmit information about the project. It will also adopt conference presentations and website to promote the project and its outcomes. Although journals and reports alone can reach the practitioners, the dissemination platform will not get other essential stakeholders. Therefore, in addition to the methods, it will also be useful to use less typical strategies like workshops, corporate conferences, and online discussions lists to yield a much higher level of engagement from all the stake holders. These will also assist mainly in the conflicting information that might likely face high resistance.

Abstract for a Sample Conference

The project aims at providing policy in the admission criteria. The presentation seeks to explain how policy change in PICU admission criteria will enable effectiveness in other units. The project goals, objectives, and rationale also provide insights on why the policy guidelines are vital in allowing PICU admission. This is because variation in policy defines different levels of patient prioritization in hospitals. Thus, procedures are imperative in providing a prioritization framework through the allocated unit resources and staff. The admission policy criteria offer intensive care and comprehensive care to child patients.

Moreover, the decisions making process in admission will be made by the administrative nurses of the unit. The project will aim at improving patient eligibility and prioritizing admission criteria in the department. The project also recommends the integration of new technology in the admission process. The technology advancement will help increase the number of staffing members in the department for admission prioritization and assign additional resources to intensive monitoring.
