2. Working on being the leading provider for kidney care.

3. Knowledge is power. DaVita works hard to make sure they are on the cutting edge with competitors in the dialysis field.

4. Other companies see the strength of teamwork that DaVita brings. Everyone can tell that the teammates feel valued and appreciated for his or her hard work.

Weaknesses

Use these prompts to complete this section:

1. Having enough nurses to keeping a steady flow of patients coming through the doors.

2. The profit margins are larger in other competitors than DaVita. DaVita offers more services for the patients and better care instead of profiting from the patients.

3. Hiring more staff. At my current position, we have a staff shortage. Which causes more work for on everyone else? The work load is getting to be a lot for everyone.

4. The cultural aspect of DaVita could be considered a weakness because DaVita showers their employees with unique benefits monthly. Buy lunches, Starbucks, having mandatory fun days. This could be considered a weakness by other companies.

Opportunities

1. The internet has increased the awareness of kidney care. It was brought a positive light on dialysis for current, and future patients.

2. Opportunities included a more extensive range of people knowing about DaVita and the excellent care they provide for the patients. Patients will have a better understanding of the different modalities that are associated with dialysis. For example, the different modalities include home Hemo, (PD) peritoneal dialysis, and home Hemodialysis.

Threats

Use these prompts to complete this section:

1. The union is a large threat to the DaVita way. It will cause more damage than good for the teammates.

2. The other competition is not taking the threat of a union as seriously as DaVita.

3. The cultural aspect of DaVita will suffer if the threat of the union goes through. The entire organization will have a significant internal shift.
