Introduction
The introduction is just that. It should briefly introduce your report (your neighborhood, explain what sustainability is, explain that you will be performing a sustainability assessment The intended audience is the City Council and local residents and businesses.) Do not present your findings or conclusions in the Introduction.
Executive Summary (or Abstract)
The Executive Summary should briefly summarize the entire assessment (every section in a short phrases or bullets) . This is not an introduction to the report. Do not introduce anything that is not contained in the rest of the paper. A busy person should be able to read only the Executive Summary and the Recommendations sections without reading the entire presentation.
Recommendations
In a concise manner list your recommendations for the City Council and residents for improving the sustainability of your neighborhood. This can be numbered recommendations or bullets with brief text.

Neighborhood Description
Describe the neighborhood. Provide a map showing boundaries of the neighborhood. Describe the various characteristics of the neighborhood. Include photos tables, etc. Include at least one photo of yourself in the neighborhood. Do not provide sustainability analysis here.
Methodology
Example: The STAR rating system consist of seven sustainability rating areas. Within each area, applicable sustainability criteria were selected and used to rate the existing neighborhood. Recommendations for increasing sustainability are then provided.

Sustainability Assessment
Introduce your sustainability indicators and how you use them. Then provide the sustainability assessment and scorecard (High / Medium / low) for each column heading in the STAR Matrix. Select at least one cell(s) under each column. Provide facts, figures, photos, graphs, etc. Within each indicator provide your recommendations for improving sustainability for the indicator. Be sure to use additional sub-headings for your selected cells. Example:
