ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE AND DEVELOPMENT
SUSTAINABILITY (chapter 11)
In this assignment, the students are responsible for gaining some in-depth knowledge of the topic and then teaching these ideas to the class. You are the “consulting” team member and the rest of the class are learning “clients.” It is expected that teams will engage class members in key points from the material and provide any handouts (or electronic) to students needed to get your key points across. Visual aids are required to illustrate the main points of the presentation. Provide some question’s related to the assignment so that they can solve it after the explanation.

Sustainability of change is vitally important in the change process. However, change initiatives can decay in their effectiveness over time, since what is fixed does not stay permanently fixed. Outline the main causes of “Initiative decay,” and steps that can be taken to increase the probability that change will be sustained and become embedded within the organization.
