Subject: Recommending Organizational Learning Mechanisms at Insight Power

We researched the relationship between productivity, performance, and overall organizational development about organizational learning mechanisms. The purpose was to identify the gaps associated with knowledge and skills among our employees. Concerning the research, it was evident that several issues were essential to evaluate. First, employees had poor communication with the management. Secondly, the administration lacked strategic approaches in improving the performance and productivity of employees. Thirdly, the organization lacked an organizational training program for the employees. These issues were instrumental in demotivating employees in understanding change and accept its implementation in the operational environment.

Lack of a training program was instrumental in limiting the acquisition of new knowledge and skills among employees. Poor communication outcomes barred knowledge-sharing processes between managers and employees. An online/internal organizational learning mechanism was essential in creating a dynamic learning outcome among employees. It was important because it focused on the real issues that the company was facing. For this, it aligns strategy with a problem. For example, when the company experiences a constant failure of machines, it does not mean that the machines are the problem. Skills and knowledge among employees may be the reason for this failure. Lack of skills and knowledge on how to control the machines could be the contributing factors to the failure.

Due to this, it would be essential to focus on introducing a training program to provide employees with an opportunity to acquire technical, administrative, and social skills in managing teamwork relationships during the undertaking of operations using machines and processes. Secondly, knowledge sharing should be paramount. This means that the company should introduce the required transparency in idea sharing to motivate employees to undertake their tasks. Employees will be dedicated when they feel that they own the company they work for through their contributions.

I hope with your assistance that these incentives will be significant in improving our company.

Vice President of Human Resources.
