Ming Chao Head of Trade Compliance, Netflix

Abstract: The speaker will present an overview of Netflix: products, markets, work culture, etc. Ming Chao will then discuss his role in building a global supply chain from the ground up and the issues related to this role. About the speaker: Ming Chao joined Netflix as Head of Trade Compliance in 2018. He is responsible for developing and managing the company’s global trade network to enable Netflix’s international growth; interim head of studio logistics. Prior to joining Netflix, Ming held various roles including consulting and was Director of Trade Compliance at NetApp. Responsible for all in import and export activities worldwide and corporate-wide initiatives such as risk management, new market development, and M&A.
