During a pipeline installation over the weekend, a 2000-

year-old object was found buried deep under an empty

field. The object had a long white cord that detached from

the cube at the bottom with two metal slits stick out.

I was called to investigate the striking white object just in

case it might be something valuable. During the

investigation, I initially determined that the object was

linked to a religious and spiritual purpose.

The color of the cord is painted white which can insinuate

purity or cleansed from sins, it could be used as rosary or

used for a praying ritual.

2000 years ago, before the first apocalypse, humans

believed in higher powers. They believed in different gods

such as Jesus or Allah. Some religious books were found

nearby buried in the same field tiled the “Holy Bible”.

Before zombies came and destroyed the entire human race

technology was booming and this white cord was some

way humans connected with their god of choice. The slits

at the end of the cube indicates that it could attach or be

plugged into something allowing humans to communicate

with their god.

We don’t know much about humans before the

“reassurance” of Earth in 3018, 1000 years earlier. This

object seems to be made up from elements from 2000

years ago such as plastic and rubber. Inside the cord are

wires which are green, red, and grey. These colors could

symbolize something inside the religion that used this

object.

The bottom of the cube has a picture of an apple with the

letters “Designed by Apple in California”. This could be a

religious statement or prayer. There are other words and

symbols at the bottom of the cube that need further

examination to be translated.
