Alignment with Organizational Goals

It used to be that if you were in IT, your function was to solve problems using technology. But technology has now become so important to companies that the solutions IT professionals propose cannot just solve a problem; they must also match the goals of the company. IT and business functions must function seamlessly, not in silos.
