Submission Feedback

Overall Feedback

Promising start on your first submission. Make sure to open the Feedback Studio to read my comments and summary ( https://libguides.umgc.edu/turnitin-students ). And please review the assignment rubric. To thoroughly revise the research-based report, reread the assignment instructions and the lectures in the discussions. And do not forget to fix all mechanics and grammar errors before submitting the final draft. Proofreading is an essential tool. Try reading your writing aloud to help with this task and use the EWC services. Make sure to review the guidance tools in weekly content and my feedback on your previous assignments.

Please take the opportunity to revise your Research-Based Report by 13 December. Don't hesitate to email me if you have questions or need assistance as you work on your revision. I will provide grades after the revision deadline. Good luck with your revisions.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

· Revising the Research-Based Report

This week we will continue our work on the research-based reports. It is essential to give your time to revise your writing. And it is also important to give yourself time to step away from your writing to recharge your thoughts. As part of the writing process, revision is an important tool to help improve your work and your writing skills. Reflect on your original writing and consider how you want to change and improve your final draft. Make sure to closely read and follow the Research-Based Report assignment prompt. The Purdue OWL and the Effective Writing Center (EWC) have sections on grammar, mechanics, and style that I encourage you to consult while you write. Though you are not submitting an assignment this week, make sure you give yourself enough time to revise, edit, and proofread your final research-based report.
