PAPA Group is hereby pleased to present this grant proposal for your review. We look forward to qualifying for the program of Youth Projects Funding from your Ministry. We have been able to build a well-based non-profit organization according to the guidelines manning the Non Profit Organizations as advocated for by the Constitution. Our objective is not limited to gaining profits but offer a platform where talents and skills can be realized for the young generation.

Last year, were ranked the best Group in the youth department. Realization of youth talents is our agenda. We are seeking a grant from your Ministry to help run out our activities. Our proposal requests $200,000 in funding to settle our annual operations.

Youth Empowerment is a key agenda for the Federal Government. Under the constitution, any person below the age of 18 years is a child; on the other hand any person regardless the Gender between the age of 18-35 years of age is considered a youth. The Ministry of Youth & Women Affairs is required to empower the youth and women without bias or discrimination. It is therefore the duty of your ministry to look into our proposal and grant us the funds to carry out our project successfully. We look forward into hearing from you with a go ahead agenda. It would be highly appreciated if you grant us the $200,000 stated for our operations.

Summary of the PROJECT

The PAPA Group Foundation, located in San Jose, CA is seeking for a grant to help us expand our territories. We have been operating for the last two years in an objective to nurture and develop the talents and skills in our youth. Currently, we have been managing from a rental office and we feel the urge to build something permanent which will accommodate our stuff and equipments. We look forward into expansion and improved services for the young people visiting us every day. Our program also has a desire to reach out for the unaware youths and inform them about our existence. Funding us with $200,000 will be highly appreciated and we will look forward to accomplishing our construction project.

Statement of Need

PAPA Group Foundation has its base at San Jose, CA whereby we operate at a small rental house. This has been a great challenge for our success and we find it difficult to carry out our duties especially when under pressure and huge youth conferences. This project will enable us carry out operations more permanently than now. Our equipments and stuff will have a better working environment. Included in the construction project is the is a special funds drive which will be held at the Agricultural Research Hall, San Jose whereby 50 youths will be demonstrating their scientific and technical research projects.

Goal Statement

“Empowering the youth is empowering a Nation” It is our goal to reach out for as many young people as possible.

Objectives

The goal is to build up a platform for every youth in the whole country. This project will help us grow systematically and drastically. This will enable us to reach out more young people and help them nurture and implement their talents and abilities. This will result into an economic stability. However our main objectives are as follows:

1. Providing a permanent platform for the youth and the nation as a whole. This will enable all young people reaches our offices as well as our stuff creating awareness to the nation and state.

2. Equipping the young people with a talent-nurturing base.

3. Scientific inventions and innovations.

4. Safeguarding the constitutional rights and freedom of every person.

Budget

The budget includes all the expenses and sources income for a year. Attached is the last year’s budget and the differences between the total expenses and the total income. We have also calculated the carry forward balances which indicates that as at December the balance we had at bank is $666100. However, this is neither enough to make our equipment and construction funding completely. Your grant of $200000 will enable us settle down at an operational cost; this would be highly appreciated.
