EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The proposed business will be called Vision Tree seedling and flower planting. The business will deal with flowers, trees and fruits. The owner planned to place the business in the local market because of the availability of customers.
Production plan
This describes the operation/production plan of the business. There is also description of production facilities and capacities. The owner also decides the business premises. The production processes, materials for production, quality control and labor control are also found in this chapter. How will the business look like and regulation affecting operation are discussed.
Marketing plan
Under this section, there is description of how products and serviced will be priced, distributed and promoted. Additionally, under the same section, there is a road map to certain forecasting for the goods, budget and appropriate control and competitive strategic decisions.
Financial plan
There is description of financial plan where the section outlines cost which the proprietor will incur. Books of account and pre-operation cost are also found in chapter five. There is estimation of working capital, and fixed asset. Cash flow projections, pro-forma balance sheet, break even analysis and desired financing is found in chapter five.
INTRODUCTION
The proposed business will be called Vision Tree seedling and flower planting. The business will deal with flowers, trees and fruits. The owner planned to place the business in the local market because of the availability of customers. The owner also has assurance of growth and prosperity of the business because of high population (Smith, 2009).
BUSINESS NAME
Vision Tree seedlings and flower planting is the name of the business. It is derived from the name seeds the name vision tree seedlings means that they are able to be seen. The slogan of the business is getting green trees and attractive flowers.

Legal requirements
· For the business to move smoothly it needs the following:
· By -laws from the business owner and the landlord will require the business owner to the rent within the reasonable time on monthly basis
· Local authorities obtained from the municipal council which will enable the business to operate properly in the municipality
· Public health certificate so that the business will not be interfered with by the health board.
· Insurance cover from the insurance company.

Competitor’s analysis
In every business there must be competitors and in order to overcome the competition the business is required to provide extra effort which the competition firm is not offering. The competitors include Perez tree seedling and flowers planting, Windsor tree seedling and flowers planting and Pekee tree seedling and flowers planting.
Business goals and objectives
The long –term goals on the business include:
1. Adopting the charges in the modern technology and improving the technology.
2. Making sure the business earns reasonable amount of profit.
3. Increasing the amount of sales made in the business.
The short-term goals include;
1. To offer high quality products and services to customers.
2. To ensure and maintain stable relationship with customers.
Entry strategies
The business will have to convince the customers that it has the best products and also give offers. The business will venture into introducing better promotions to attract more customers to buy better products than they have been buying before.
Type of business
The type of venture proposed is planting because I will be will be able to plant seedlings and sell them to customers directly.
Justification of opportunity
The high population in the area will lead to a chance of succeeding in my business because of ability and willingness of customers. The business will improve living standards of the community since it will be competing with other similar business leading to customers buying reasonable prices and make them presentable. The business will also create employment to those have skills
PRODUCTION PLAN/ OPERATION PLAN
Vision tree seedling planting provides the following services:
(i) Seedling selling
(ii) Flowers
(iii) Trees
Vision tree seedling and flower planting store will be offering both services and sales. The business will be updated as the technology keep on changing to cope in the market. For a start of vision tree seedling and flower planting will operate in rental premises. It will require various facilities to enhance smooth running of the business and its growth. There are some machinery, tools and equipment needed for production purposes.
MARKETING PLAN
The business will expand and have branches in different areas. It will carry out the largest market and the value that will be offered based on analysis of best market opportunities. It requires the initiates to carry out a research in order to cater for the desired products and services. This business intends to capture 30% of the customers within the first year of operation. This is because the business will take half a year before people are familiar with the business by knowing the potential customers in the market and identifying their tastes and preferences at the end of the third year the business will have gained a bigger percentage of customers. When the customers are well familiarized with the business, will help to have more income hence success in the business.
Customers
The business plans to get individual customers as well as other customers from institutions like secondary schools, universities and Games Reserve and the hospitals. By intending to target customers from different background and with different income levels they are customers from low to middle income carriers. The business will also try to capture customer who buy from other competitors by offering the favorable buying conditions. Those who will buy in large quantities will be given credit facilities from time to time. The customers targeted by this business belong to all generation i. e youths, old, young men and women. The essence behind is that, it is a product of their benefit for providing shade and beauty. The economic benefit of the business to customers is selling the products at fair prices which will be affordable to all level of people who will be willing to purchase the product. Thus, the business will be handling a lot of customers during the morning hours and evening and a few numbers during the day.
ORGANISATIONAL PLAN
I will be owner of the business as the sole proprietor. The owner will be the manager of the business. The owner has decided to be entrepreneur since he has acquired skills and knowledge and in the job market there are a few job opportunities. This business is aimed at generating income for the owner and create job opportunities to the youths who are energetic and have potential and capabilities in work. In future, I will maximize profit and minimize losses and intend to create job opportunities for people around the place who have at least ideas on seedling planting and lacked such opportunity. Management is the key factor in the co-ordination of any business enterprise. Its maximum managerial skills are employed and the cost of running the enterprise will be minimized and hence profits maximized. Planning being a function of the management is a necessity for all enterprise.
FINANCIAL PLAN
This section outlines the cost which the proprietor will incur in the running of the business and the expected revenue. This helps the proprietor to determine the viability of the business. It also enables the owner to know the financial aspect of the proposed business hence enabling financial potentiality of the enterprise. The plan will incur some expenses as illustrated below;

SUMMARY
Business plan is an idea of coming up with certain business. In this case, the business plan bases on planting of tree seedling. The main of coming up with the business idea is to generate income. This business offers services in terms of sales and goods in terms of selling the flowers to the targeted customers. In this case, targeted customers are all people of various ages both youths and old aged people.
