Based on the two items or issues that cannot be derived from the two companies' financial statements, the two common problems include the interim report and historical cost. Under interim reports, investors and stakeholders should be keen since the financial statements do not display the business's correct and final picture. Almost all data declared in statements are based on assumptions. The actual image of a firm is known as soon as it is dissolved. In addition, expenses and incomes are assigned for diverse accounting areas for determining profits. The provision of incomes and expenditures depends on accountants' best ruling. Consequently, the financial declarations do not display the actual picture of concern. An extensive record of them is interim reports.

Under historical cost, the financial statements are being organized based on the foundation of the assets' historical expenses. The changes in the value of assets that occur with the passage of time and current liabilities are not considered. The financial statements are not set hence keeping reliability with the current changed economic state. Therefore, the balance sheet loses its position as an index of existing economic genuineness. The profit earnings volume as retained in the income statement does not index the actual position of an occupational concern. Moreover, with further research, it has been known that the increase of profit might actually be the outcome of price-hike or any additional abnormal circumstance and not the result of an upsurge in the competence.

With the specific interests of the different users of financial statements. Under Apple company, I would say that the Company comprises interest related to income tax substances within the provision for income taxes (Al Kibaida, 2020). However, as of September 28, 2019, and September 29, 2018, the overall amount of gross interest accumulated was $1.3 billion, correspondingly. The Company has confidence that any incremental Irish commercial income taxes possibly due associated to the State Aid Decision would be creditable in contradiction of U.S. taxes, subject to any external tax credit restrictions in the Act. As of September 28, 2019, the entire adjusted retrieval amount plus interest was subsidized into escrow, where it will remain constrained from general use pending the conclusion of all petitions.

With Microsoft, with comparing interests in 2019 and 2018, Interest and dividends income augmented primarily due to advanced yields on fixed-income safeties. Interest expense mainly declined hence driven by a reduction in unresolved long-term debt due to debt maturities, offset in part by sophisticated finance lease expense. Consequently, net documented gains on investments diminished primarily due to inferior increases on auctions of equity investments. Also, net gains on derivatives consist of payments on foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives in the current period as associated with losses in the previous time. With their market risk under interest rates, securities established in their fixed-income portfolio are subject to various interest rate hazards based on their adulthoods. Microsoft manages the average maturity of the fixed-income collection to accomplish economic returns associated with specific universal fixed-income directories.

Under comparing and contrasting the two companies in terms of how well or how poorly they perform in the areas of profit, debt, and asset turnover. Microsoft IT business toped the Reputation Institute's CSR Rep Trak 100 at the Integrity Institute in place of the Walt Disney Company as a favor, which later surpassed Google for the second spot this year. Microsoft offered over $900 million in cash and nonprofit apps globally in the previous year, lowered greenhouse gas emissions 30 percent by unit sold around 2007, making it the top contribution company ever. On the other hand, Apple finished 20th in the Annual Rep Trak 100 Reputation Institute in the opening quarter of 2017, evaluating big companies' consumer attitudes worldwide. In addition, Apple ranked 10th in the report over the same period the previous year. In 2018, Apple was a close second behindhand search giant Google in the Integrity Institute (GOOGL).

Considering debts between the two companies, Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) capital structure has altered intensely over the previous few years, with its debt-to-equity ratio increasing from 0.3x to 1.2x between 2014 and 2019 and its overall debt rising from $35 billion in the year 2014 to $108 billion in the year 2019 (Lessambo, 2018). Based on Microsoft's financial declaration as of April 2020, its long-term debt is at $62.86 billion, and the up-to-date debt is at $3.75 billion, amounting to $66.61 billion as the total debt. However, accustomed to $11.71 billion in cash-equivalents, the firm's net debt is at $54.90 billion. With strategy improvement for each Company, Apple is ongoing to expand production efficiency, as reinforced by the fact that most goods are being shipped on the same commercial day as the order placement day. On the other hand, market penetration is used as the key growth strategy to support Microsoft's evolution in an extremely competitive global computer software and hardware market.
