Review the case study found on pages 4.43 – 4.46 in your text.

  1. Read the article “ Risk Challenges for Casinos” and in your groups finish work on the case study assigned under this name in assignments. 
  2. In your groups begin work on the following assignment. You will have next week to work on the case study as well.
  • Identify three (3) of the risks outlined in this article and analyze the impact of that risk on the casinos operation.                                            (15 marks)
  • Identify how the casino is treating these identified risks.               (5 marks)
  • What other physical damage property risks would this type of operation also be exposed to. Name five (5) and identify two (2) ways to prevent or reduce these risks.        (10 marks)

The completed assignment should be submitted to the drop box no later than 11:59 pm on Sunday of Week 5. 

  • Please include the full names of all members of your group. 
  • All references to material found in the text book or the article should be sourced and your works cited. 
  • Marks will be allocated as noted above. 
  • Late penalties will apply at 25% per day. 
  • This assignment is worth 5% of your final grade.
