Subject: Proper Way to Outline a Speech
To alleviate pressure on employees with lower proficiency in speeches we will be hosting mandatory group conferences every week. In an effort to keep everyone on board on the proper way to outline a speech and give a clear concise message to their audience these outlines will be given to everyone in the office. Employees who are not adequate for the presentations will be given additional help to make sure they are up to date on the company’s expectations for big time buyer presentations they will be performing when working with our customers.
Many of our employees here at the office are not up to date on the proper ways to outlining a speech, which can lead to an unclear message, confusion on what kind of product the client is being sold, and even potential misunderstanding making our company look bad. Lack of premise to gain audience attention will result in people being uninterested in what you have to say. Having mixed ideas of what your speech will discuss will leave the listeners to getting confused as to what exactly your end result will be for leaving them with a take to action point. If there is no take to action in your speech your entire message was irrelevant to as what you wanted your customers to do.
We can host mandatory discussion groups weekly to further enhance employees’ skills on speech outline to meet our requirements on outstanding speech performances. These discussions will be broken up into three categories, which employees will rotate on meeting days. The three categories that will be talked out is, how to make a successful premise for your speech, what are important topics to put in the body of your speech, and call to action with concluding statement to further push your message.
Each subdivision can intensify the understanding of the employees to make them proficient at outlining speech and public speakers. After they have a chance to receive multiple trainings, we can further assess their skills to make sure they are improving on it. Making outlines can also give a clear understanding of what the requirements are for the speech so there are no mixed messages. Giving the opportunity of the subdivision groups will allow for people to learn the proper way of a speech outline at their own comfort level of experience.
Another recommendation for proper oral presentations and essay outlines can be tested once a month through employee practice presentations in our conference room. Employees will give a run down on their specific struggles through presenting it to their piers by showing examples of what they can change to improve on the speeches. Doing so will make them more comfortable public speaking and having that knowledge of doing research for precise details that will draw in their audiences for potential better sales opportunities with any client they may run into daily.
