The American Journal of Epidemiology also states that an increased risk of ovarian cancer was found among women exposed to the oral contraceptive pills for three years or longer. I have read reports about women who have used oral contraceptive pills for a long period of time and they had ovarian cancer. If such studies are disclosed in the medical literature, the drug product manufacturers will include warnings for the use of the pills for a long period of time. I want to know the information about the use of the pills for a long period of time. The reality is that many women do not get the fear of pregnancy when they start the use of a drug. They do not have any idea of the medication that they are taking. If any information about the drug is disclosed to someone else, it can be more easily spread among many people. I think that there should be more awareness of this issue (Kurta et al, 2015).

I think that it is the duty of the manufacturers of these fertility drugs to disclose the relevant study information to the patients. It is the duty of the patients to disclose the relevant information to the doctors and the fertility clinic doctors. People who are going for medical treatment or treatment in any other department of the hospital must know the side effects of the treatment. So, they should also know about the side effects of these fertility drugs. If these studies are not disclosed to the patients or even to the doctors, then there is a danger of rising cases of ovarian cancer. If we know that there are some serious side effects of these drugs, then it is our duty to inform the people. If there are no such warnings on the package, then we cannot find the way to control ourselves and it may be the reason behind the rising rate of ovarian cancer (Tomao et al, 2014).
