Academic Background and Work Experience
The academic documents of this individual indicate that he has a PHD in Business management from one of the biggest institutions of higher learning in the United states. Apart from the PHD he has also taken some professional courses to supplement the certificate and so he is one individual who has quite attractive papers for the job market. He graduated 5 years ago and has worked in several companies as a junior manager. According to the information I got from him during the interview, this individual is one person who was actually among the best employees in the organizations he worked for last, he was mainly dealing with the operations and running the day to day activities of the organization. According to the recommendations that he was given this individual is capable to perform quite well.
Required Skills in the Job Market
Whenever a vacancy is announced for any type of job, there are so many applicants who present their application letters and the relevant credentials. And in the current world the job market is very competitive which means for one to survive they need to have something that is quite unique over the other individuals in the market and that is the skills that he/she possess. So the first service he will need is to train on how to embrace team work at the work place, this will help him ensure that the organization performance is as a result of some collective responsibility of the employees. Teamwork is an aspect that some managers ignore and focus more on the individual performance but I would recommend that he try go by this perception (Walker, Cifu, Hudak, Goldberg, Kunz & Sima, 2015).
In the job training process, this individual will also need to subscribe to some services that will put him in some strategic position to get the job that relates to the career he pursued. Due to the level of competition that is there in the job market, one need so connect with some credible and reliable sources hat are actually focused to help him secure some employment.
The other thing is about looking and participating in some voluntary projects. These services will help him spice up his job application CV because most employers normally look further so these kind of participations will help him add something to help him be more competent in the industry. Experience is another very crucial area that the employers look at when hiring new individuals and it is quite clear that these voluntary projects will help him get some experience and so it at a better position to meet the cutoff of the employers (Michelle & Mercado, 2016).
Recommendations on Areas to be Adjusted
During the interview I also realized that he had some areas that actually needed adjustments and one of them is the willingness to learn. Whenever one is employed newly to an organization, there are normally change from what they used to do in their initial employment and what these new workplace requires. It is therefore important that one trains himself very well and make sure they are in a position to learn the new concepts, ideas and the new post is demanding. Normally people are trained to be the individual that the profession wants them to be but on the other hand the organizations also have their culture and expectations so the new individual should be willing to learn the new concepts.
Flexibility is also another area that he needs to work on so as to ensure that he can adapt to any work environment. Generally, companies differ in their culture and some may be demanding more from the employees and so to ensure that he adapt easily to the system, he need to ensure that he is very flexible and can adapt to whatever environment.
Conclusion
This individual was generally very open and he actually gave almost all the information I needed to help advise him accordingly on the job requirements and the expectations of the employers. He is generally a very competent individual and can easily be absorbed to any organization despite the few adjustments he need to make.
