Analysis Outline
Topic:Strategic IT Planning.
Introduction
• This analysis will expound more on the definition of what is strategic planning and how it
relates to Information Technology (IT)
Objectives.
By critically following the terms and principles of proper strategic planning the following
objectives need to be met.
• Briefly outline to implement a strategic plan that incorporates Information Technology
• Briefly explain the importance and impact that IT planning strategies have.
• Briefly list the three-step process in strategic IT planning
i. Availability of IT resources.
The company will finance vigorously in the installation of Information
Technology resources in all the departments. The resources will include
the modern computers that are in the market and the incorporation of
professionals to offer their expertise in network installation in order to
ensure good communication is achieved in the operations of the company
or organizations. The analysis will expound more on the issue.
ii. Offering training to working personnel about strategic IT planning.
The company is aware of the fact that not all employees are computer
oriented hence training workshops and forums will be funded by the

company in order to train the employees about the trends taking place in
the technological sector and implementation of strategic plans.
iii. Assessing effects of IT planning.
Assessment of the IT planning strategies will be crucial to determine
whether they are registering positive outcome or negative. In the event that
negative outcomes are recorded, measures are taken to curb the issue and
determine where possible loop holes to the strategic plans put in place may
have developed

2. What are the proceduresthat are needed to be undertaken to achieve your goals and the goals
of the workforce and the leadership of a company?
