A culture that promotes employee uniqueness and values the contribution of every single employee.

Values and Culture

One of the important values that the organization will incorporate into every aspect of its operation will be ethics and integrity. Everything within the organization will be done in a way that is responsible, fair, and honest manner to all the involved stakeholders (Information Resources Management Association, 2015). The second value will be respect for every employee in the organization. This is a very important value because no organization can function without the input of its employees. Committed employees enable the organization to attain its strategic goals thus respecting them is such a very important value. Another important organizational value will be innovation. The beauty industry faces a lot of competition and the company should be able to come up with new ideas that will enable it to appeal to the ever changing customer needs and preferences. This is why innovation will be a very crucial value for the organization as it will enhance its competitive advantage. The organizational culture will be a culture that promotes employee uniqueness and values the contribution of every single employee.

How values drive culture

The organizational values mentioned above will act as the organization culture’s guiding principles. They will guide the actions and priorities of the employees within the organization in promoting the culture of inclusion and innovation in the organization (Rees & Smith, 2014). The organizational culture will thus be based on these organizational core values. Building a culture based on ethics and integrity will enhance trust among customers, stakeholders, and employees, thus improving the company’s position in the market. Respecting every employee will promote a sense of family and belonging in the organization for every employee thus promoting a culture of inclusion. Innovation will promote the celebration of employee ideas and their uniqueness in coming up with strategic market plans.

Competitive Advantage

Will be enhanced through:

product differentiation and

cost leadership

Product differentiation will be done through customization.

Cost leadership will allow the company to offer high quality products at a cheaper price.

Competitive advantage

The organization will enhance competitive advantage through two strategies. These include product differentiation and cost leadership. Product differentiation strategy for creating sustainable competitive advantaged is based on the fact that competition is very strong in the cosmetics industry and similar products are offered by several companies (Mishra, 2017). This will be done through personalization, which will involve providing unique products to the consumers through customization. The other strategy will be pricing. The company’s products will be offered to the consumers in an affordable price, while not compromising the high quality of the products. This wills cultivate and promote customer preference for the company’s products thus enhancing its competitive advantage.
