Story pitch

Write an email pitch to fashion and lifestyle bloggers or to reporters for traditional media such as TV and magazines for a clothing item and the design expertise of Regine Chevallier. Her website is http://www.reginechevallier.com. Be sure to read about her before crafting your message. She has an interesting life story that may help you make a connection with the targeted writer. She is your client.

Advice from grammarly

Say nothing. Just cut to the chase.

Say something personal after reading recent blog posts to show that you’re familiar with the person’s interests.

“I know you’re busy, so I’ll be brief.”

“We met at ___” or “We know each other through ___”

Small talk that’s not phony.
