Stock Report Assignment

• The basic purpose of the assignment is to come up with a “Buy”, “Sell”, or “Hold”

(“Neutral”) recommendation for your assigned stock.

• The recommendation should be backed by analysis and concrete justification to make your

case. Your analysis could be qualitative or quantitative, or both.

• You can use a variety of approaches to analyze the stock. You can use some ideas from

the lectures.

• Use seekingalpha.com to look at some research reports for your stock to get some guidance

on security analysis; however, your analysis should be your own work.

• Try to offer some unique, differentiating perspective, and pay attention to valuation (what

information about your stock is not priced in correctly, in your opinion?).

• Make sure your report is well-written, and free of grammatical errors (consider using tools

like grammarly). Keep it concise, and avoid repetitions.
