Purpose of a Strategic Plan
It helps in setting the goals of the organisation.
It creates a plan under which the established goals will be realized.
Links the mission and vision of the organisation(Bryson, 2015).
The first purpose of a strategic plan is establishing the goals that the organisation wants to undertake. The goals can also be described as the level that Stevens district Hospital wishes to be in future. Maybe they could be the new service that they want to introduce or improving the existing structures.
Another purpose of the plan is developing a plan under which the established goals will be realized. The plan will show the timeframe that the goals are speculated to be finished. Furthermore, it will provide a layout of the activities that will be undertaken at a particular time.
The mission of the organisation is the purpose of that the organisation is intended for, while the vision are the actions that the organisation is undertaking to achieve to its plan. The plan shows what the organisation is intended to do to achieve a particular goal. While the goals is the mission that shows the direction to which the organisation is moving towards.

Alignment of Strategic Plan to Mission and Vision Statement
The strategic plan exists as a vacuum.
The mission of the starting point of the organisation.
The vision is the final destination to which the organisation should move to.
Strategic plan acts as a roadmap that shows the direction of the organisation.
Mission, vision and strategic work in conjunction. The mission represents the purpose of the organisation. It explains the importance of the organisation existing. Thereby, it is the initial starting point of the organisation.
Vision is the final destination that the organisation is set to move towards. It shows the picture of the organisation in the future. It describes the improvements that will be made for the organisastion to move to its final stage.
Strategic plan is the roadmap that is directing how the final destination will be arrived at. The activities that will be done are described in the plan. Moreover, the timeframe to complete the project is also illustrated.

Importance of Multiple Stakeholders to Strategic Planning
It gives a chance to those who will be affected and or will affect the outcomes a chance to give their concerns.
It brings people of different expertise, knowledge and experience together to form solutions.
Enhances collaborative relationships and new partnerships that enhance value(Wolf & Floyd, 2017).
By involving multiple stakeholders it gives an opportunity to those who will be affected to raise their concern. Moreover, those who affect the outcomes also raise their concerns leading to a binding solution on the decision made.
Because the plan covers different aspects. People who are more expertise in the field may give their decisions on how certain things should be done. However, also those with experience and knowledge in different advise effectively on issues touching their areas.
During the strategic planning the different stakeholders form relationships that could be used to unify the organisation. A united organisation be beneficial to the organisation.

The clarity of the vision of the organisation is enhanced among the different influencers who are affected by the actions.
Different stakeholders will enhance for planning of the risks that are related to their departments. Thereby, mitigating chances of the risks from occurring.
The vision of the organisation is stipulated to the members drawn from different stakeholders. Thereby each member will be able to realize their roles in the realization of the goals of the organisation.
When different stakeholders are included the risks that may affect the organisation are planned for exclusively. The different personnel will have their view on the risks that may affect their departmnts

Stakeholder’s involved in Strategic Planning
Employees- they will be the health workers of the hospital.
Patients- will be described as the immediate customers of the hospital.
Community- they are people surrounding the hospital and are likely to receive services from the hospital.
Suppliers – individuals who provide goods and services to the organisation
Depending on how they are attached to the success of the organization there are different stakeholders. Employees are the workers who are attached to the hospital and perform different roles.
Patients are the customers who receive the services provided are renders to them. They are the initial beneficiaries of the hospital.
Community are the surrounding neighbors to the hospital who are likely benefit from the hospital as workers or patients.
Supplier-they provide the basic commodities and services to the hospital

Managers- they are the overall decision makers of the organisation.
Partners – are people who may have specific interest but are not directly attached to the hospital
Managers are the top most people in the decision making rank. They make the final decisions that should be adopted by the organisation.
Partners are people who are willing to help in the activities of the organisation but they are not directly attached to the organisation. They help in advising on how the activities of the organisation should be undertaken.

Managers are the top most in the decision making process. The partners are the lowest in rank in the decision making process. The decision made by the mangers in the organisation is final. However, they have to listen from views from other interested parties in the organization. partners are the lowest in the decision making rank as they act as advisors on how the organisation is supposed to operate.

Purpose of Communication Plan
It elaborates the goals and objectives of the organisation to different stakeholders.
Highlights the roles of different stakeholders in the strategic planning process.
To evaluate the success of the strategic plan and identify places that may require additional reinforcement.
The communication plan acts as a roadmap; it shows where to go and the route that should be followed in moving towards a particular direction. Thereby it should stipulate the goals of the strategic plan.
People need to know what they will be contributing to the organization and what they are responsible for. A plan will help manage people and their responsibilities. Organizations will often do a mid-course review to determine strengths, weaknesses, and obstacles and then create and implement new approaches. You can develop a unique, tailored evaluation strategy that will gather the information you need to improve your plan

Allows everyone in the team to own the success that will be attained by the strategic plan.
It helps in identifying and implementing the variety of ways in which communication will be enhanced(Papke-Shields & Boyer-Wright, 2017).
Getting involved in the process and integrating participants’ opinions brings a sense of ownership. Thereby, they will participate in the activities of the organization diligently.
There are many different ways to spread your message. This will help you to settle on which activities you will engage in so that you aren’t continuously pulled in different directions.

Conclusion
In conclusion, the paper has looked at some aspects of a strategic plan. The plan has its purpose that they have to accomplish. Strategic plan should align with the mission and vision of the organisation. There are different stakeholder involved in the strategic plan and they are of importance. Lastly, the communication plan is an important aspect in strategic planning.
