Watch the video on Feast for the Future, a program aimed at health promotion among Native Americans in New Mexico.

1. What strategies are used in the program and how do they align with specific and unique community characteristics?

2. Identify one prevalent health issue affecting a specific community in the U.S. population (again, however you choose to define it, but please identify the community to which you refer).

3. Identify a current prevention measure at the primary, secondary, and tertiary level of prevention for your chosen key population/community (from Q2). In your opinion, at which level is most challenging for public health practitioners to employ strategies to promote health? What are the factors that make that level of prevention so challenging? At which level can public health practitioners be most effective in addressing the health issue?

4. Is there evidence that the prevention strategies used are "community-appropriate", that is, are there aspects of the community (socio-cultural characteristics) that are integrated into the programming? If so, how might this enhance programming? If not, how might that challenge effectiveness?

Please provide a link to the community organization and/or other resource that helped you identify the prevention strategy to help support your discussion post.
