The Stuart Math Department is full of engineers, teachers, and mathematicians who strive to engage students. Our teachers are from all over: Egypt, New York, Germany, Wisconsin, Vietnam, California, , Florida, and of course Virginia. There are teacher fluent in Arabic, Spanish, German, and Vietnamese.

Our department offers a variety of special education services to meet the needs of all students. There are classes with 12:1 student to teacher ration. There are classes that are longer to give students more time that need it. 

Staff is available for extra help every Wednesday after school until 4:30pm. Students can take the late bus. In the spring SOL test review will be four Saturdays in April check for times.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS

OUR CLASS

Students in our class will have a chance to work in alone, with partners, and in groups. As students encounter problems they will learn to solve them together. Respect for others is essential for success.

OUR OPPORTUNITIES

Students will have opportunities to engage in real world problem solving. They will have a chance to earn credit and pass the SOL which are required for graduation.
