Statement of Purpose

I heard the term “business” at the first time when I was a child. Since then, I had an interest to discover what is behind this wonderful world! When I hear business issues I feel that I am traveling through to another dimension! Every day I find an unrestrained interest to break this world and discover all what it has inside. So, I have decided to start my exploration journey, I usually read and listened to business news that was my passion at that time. I made this world my friend and you can say I live in it. What was taking my attention was not the money nor the advertisements nor the temptations, but what was taking my attention is the question “How does this dimension work?”

When I was in high school I started learning some planning programs. I learned these programs but still the question was not answered in my mind. In high school, I turned my direction to explore the business' physical parts, I felt that I am going to get the secret answer to my question but also felt it was still like a labyrinth. By getting into high school, I studied some subjects that tell about theories and science that business is based on. Also, I studied basic programming planning, by reached this step I felt that I got some parts of the secret answer for that puzzle. So, I decided to go to business science field of my Bachelor’s degree.

I got my Bachelor’s degree in business science in the year 2010 from King Khalid University (KKU), Abha, Saudi Arabia. It was a four-year study plan. During these four years, I learned basic business' rules since the first generation up to the current generation and the theories and sciences that business science stands on. I studied also many modern subjects in the business science field. Also, every semester there was a training course outside my college. I was a good team player and I added a lot of value to the work that I took in my internship, such as, I joined the University business societies as co-student. I worked with a three-student group to develop our graduation project. I have technical, strategy and managerial skills to build projects that include whatever of the business science aspects. So I feel complacent about myself in applying what I have studied in the project.

In 2016 I earned my M.S. in E-Commerce - Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ, USA. Due to the high dedication, I was able to prove myself and be one of the best student in the MS program. By the graduation, I knew the answer for my question “How does the business’ dimension work?” Where that answer was not as simple as I thought; there were a lot of theories and science that support each other to achieve that great answer. But unfortunately, and fortunately, this question generated another question “Who is behind these sciences and theories? And how can I become a person who can add new things in the field of business science?”.

I implemented what I studied while I was working as a digital marketing manager in Al-Jazeera Paints company which is one of the most effective, successful and leading companies in the Middle East. I have been dealing with many subjects and problems related to the field of information system and information management. I achieved a praise and satisfaction from my managers of what I have done. I prepared many seminars for my colleagues and new employees. I like my field job it is my hobby. Moreover, I selected this field to improve my skills in business information system and related fields.

By exploring the top USA Universities and especially business administrations –Information System departments and their faculties, I found qualified faculties who have done a huge amount of research and publications. I have seen their names as authors of business related text books in my bachelor and master’s degree. Then, I knew who stands behind the business science and Information System as a science. I decided to come to the USA to complete my higher education. Why not? It is one of the first Industrial countries.

One of College of Business Administration's faculties at King Khalid University advised me strongly to pursue my Doctorate of Philosophy program in your university. Where the faculty are highly educated, and has the outstanding program for business information system researchers.

My wish is to become academic researcher who adds to the field of business administration and management. I am sure that the suitable environment for converting this hope is to become one of your students. That will support my joining to the PhD program in business administration field at your university. I really hope that you would accept me to your program and allow me to complete my exploration journey at your university.
