Stage 5 The Digital Short Process Write
You have the freedom to present the research on your stakeholders, issue, and fautline in whatever manner you see fit. You simply need to ensure that you are using a specific Rhetorical Genre and that you have the Digital evidence to support you Claims in the Script.
Once you start assembling the project within your Video editor, this project will take on a different life. Remember, you can use images, videos, music, podcasts, gifs, whatever digital evidence you would like you just need to cite it at the end of the video.
We need to assemble this in the form of the Digital Script so that it may serve as the text for our Digital short. This means it should include visual evidence with our Claims and Analysis in an organize manner (Claims/Evidence/Analysis, Pattern of Organization, and Rhetorical Genre/Audience). Furthermore, it will give us a visual map of how we will present our narrative for the film.
---------- Your Submission:
Your Claims are failing to speak of your Stakeholders, Issue, and Faultline. This is a major Issue because the Digital short should reflect the research from this term, and utilize the rhetoric we developed for the essay.
Another problem is that some of the Evidence that you are providing is generic, it in no way reflects a specific set of stakeholders, community or Faultline in California. Some are also low resolution or in a small file size that will not show clearly when projected on larger screens.
You are missing a work cited with a list of your hyperlinks where you found the resource.
------------ Remember:
For the Digital short, you may choose to present your research in whatever manner you see fit. You may choose to develop a different academic tone for the Digital short compared to the final essay. Ensure that you utilize a pattern of organization and rhetorical genre that we have reviewed and utilized over the course of this term.
Claims should reflect a pattern of organization and rhetorical genre. Once you have focused the Photo Narrative through these two elements, you may revise your Claims to
suit the voice you are developing with your pattern of organization and the rhetorical genre you are utilizing.
Evidence may be infographs, gifs, memes, videos, text, podcasts, documentaries, film, if it is Digital and will work to accentuate your academic argument then it is solid. Ultimately, the visual evidence should be relevant to the coordinating Claim. If the claim establishes what the section will say, the visual evidence establishes what the viewer will see.
Analysis should unpack your argument and assist with unpacking what is being shown on screen (either directly or indirectly). This means that you should have your narrative argument from your essay and the visual narrative that you will create with your Digital evidence.
