Staff Accountant needed for CPA firm.
Responsibilities:
Accounting for small to mid-size business entities
Bank reconciliation/ credit card reconciliations
Maintain Fixed Assets schedules
Review General Ledger detail
Preparation of payroll returns (941, RT6, 940)
Communication with clients
Data entry for individual tax returns

Qualifications:
BS Accounting
Prior experience working in a CPA firm (minimum 3 years) or 5 years as staff accountant
Team player and a commitment to high quality
Detailed oriented is a must!
Ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking skills
Strong computer skills with proficiency is Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams)
Willingness and ability to learn and work with new systems
